This Statement of Privacy applies to the website and the broadband internet service provided by JackRabbit Wireless LLC DBA JackRabbit Internet. JackRabbit Internet is opposed to sharing customer information and internet usage with third-party companies such as advertisers, network monitoring companies, SEO companies, etc.
Net Neutrality and Privacy Pledge
We are dedicated to providing and defending a private, unbiased Internet experience for all of our subscribers. JackRabbit Internet treats all bandwidth on its network equally and does not give preferential treatment to any traffic based on its type, origin, or destination. We do not inspect the contents of your traffic, and we believe all users on our network are entitled to a private interaction with the Internet.
A private Internet is essential to freedom of expression. We are committed to protecting our customers' right to privacy and manage our network in a deidentified manner. We do not retain logs that tie customers to their IP address, or MAC and DHCP data, except to the extent we are legally required to do so.
We do not and will not engage in toll practices with other Internet service providers or content providers, and we actively monitor and upgrade our network so that all customers have the best possible experience. Rules for acceptable use of the network are set out in our Acceptable Use Policy.
- Data we do collect
- We collect and retain user account information (such as name, address, email address, phone, etc) for internal service, support, and billing. For networking and support issues we also log other information (such as MAC address and DHCP lease information), which we retain only to the extent we are legally required to do so. All of this information is considered private and is not shared with third parties other than as listed in other sections of this policy.
- Static IPs
- If a business or residential customer receives static IP address(es), some of their personal information may be visible in reverse DNS records and ‘whois’ records. During the allocation of a static IP, information is transmitted to ARIN per their IP Reassignment Policy.
- Financial information
- All on-line payment processing is done by a third party and JackRabbit Internet does not retain any financial information on our servers.
- Browsing Data
- JackRabbit Internet does not perform Deep Packet Inspection (DPI), and believes all users on our network are entitled to a private interaction with the Internet. We do not retain logs of websites visited. We do not and will not sell your browsing data to third parties.
- Website data and analytics
- Our website uses privacy-friendly analytics to understand aggregate usage, and does not use advertising cookies or track your activity across other websites. Information you submit through a form on our website is used to respond to your request and provide service.
- How we share information
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may share personal information with service providers that help us operate our network, website, and billing — such as payment processing, email delivery, address verification, and website analytics — and only to the extent needed to provide our services or as described in this policy. These providers are required to protect your information and use it only for the services they perform for us. When you use an address lookup or eligibility feature on our website, the address you enter may be processed by a third-party address-verification provider.
- Your privacy rights
- Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, access and receive a copy of your personal information, correct inaccurate information, delete certain personal information, obtain a portable copy of your information, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or its use for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
- To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected] or 915-209-1698. We will verify your request and respond as required by applicable law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. Some information may be exempt from these requests where we are required or permitted by law to retain it, such as billing and service records. Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, and California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended.
- Security
- We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify affected customers and applicable authorities as required by law.
- Children's privacy
- Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
- CPNI
- As a provider of broadband Internet access service, we protect Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) and other customer information as required by federal law. We do not use or disclose your individually identifiable CPNI for marketing purposes without your approval, except as permitted or required by law. More information about our network management and service practices is available in our FCC Broadband Consumer Disclosures.
- Governmental requests
- Requests for user information will only be surrendered as legally required (e.g. a subpoena). Furthermore, all such requests will be reviewed by our counsel to validate relevance and validity.
- Marketing communications
- We send service-related communications about your account, billing, and network status. We may also send promotional communications. You can opt out of promotional messages at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us; you will continue to receive service and billing communications.
- Changes to the Privacy Policy
- We reserve the right to change the terms of this Privacy Policy. Since any changes will be posted on this page, we encourage you to check this page regularly. Any changes to this policy shall be effective immediately upon posting them here. This privacy policy was last amended on September 12th, 2026.
