JackRabbit Internet is the locally owned ISP built for the Borderland, not corporate shareholders. We were founded by El Paso natives to bring fast, reliable internet to families, neighborhoods, businesses, and rural communities that big telecom too often overlooks.

More than selling internet
We help build the digital infrastructure El Paso families, nonprofits, seniors, students, workers, and small businesses need to participate fully in modern life.
Project Overcome
Selected by nonprofit Borderplex Connect as the implementation partner for Project Overcome, a broadband access initiative supported by a grant from Marathon Petroleum. JackRabbit provided free internet to over 150 fixed-income households in El Paso, primarily seniors and individuals with disabilities.
Digital Bridges Program
Led by Workforce Solutions Borderplex, Digital Bridges expanded internet access and digital literacy across the region. JackRabbit connected over 30 low-income families with free home internet, laptops, and hands-on training.
Rancho Escondido
We provide free high-speed internet and full-property mesh WiFi to Rancho Escondido, a nonprofit offering therapeutic horseback riding for individuals of all abilities — reliable connectivity across an 18-acre site.
Mamacitas Cibernéticas
We assist Mamacitas Cibernéticas in providing bilingual digital literacy instruction, helping senior citizens in Southern Doña Ana County gain confidence and skills online.
Camp Kaleidoscope
We sponsor Camp Kaleidoscope of El Paso, an inclusive two-week summer camp where people with special needs build friendships, enjoy creative activities, and take part in community outings.

Robert Chacón
Founder & Network Architect
Robert founded JackRabbit after watching his hometown get left behind by big telecom. He designed JackRabbit's infrastructure to deliver the fast, responsive, reliable internet the Borderland deserves. He also leads LibreQoS, an open-source network performance platform used by ISPs worldwide.
Tristan Frescas
Co-Founder & Operations Manager
Tristan sets the standard for how JackRabbit treats customers. With more than 12 years of customer service experience, he knows reliable internet is about showing up, solving problems, and treating people with respect — and he's known for clean, precise installations.
Luis Estrada Aguirre
Cyber Security Instructor
Luis connects JackRabbit's technology with the communities it serves, focusing on digital inclusion and customer education. A UTEP Computer Science graduate, he teaches hands-on workshops that help seniors and families build confidence online.
