Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes the rules for using the JackRabbit Wireless LLC network and service, and forms part of your agreement with JackRabbit Wireless LLC. By using the service, you agree to this policy. Terms used here have the same meaning as in our Terms of Service.

Lawful use

JackRabbit Wireless LLC's network may only be used for lawful purposes. Transmission of any material in violation of state or federal laws or regulations is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, copyrighted material, threatening or obscene material, and material protected by trade secret. You agree to indemnify and hold JackRabbit Wireless LLC harmless from any claims resulting from your use of JackRabbit Wireless LLC's network which damages you or another party.

Prohibited activities

Network Abuse of the JackRabbit Wireless LLC network can and will be reviewed by JackRabbit Wireless LLC to determine appropriate action. Network Abuse is determined solely by the network administrator. Examples include launching denial-of-service attacks and unauthorized access of JackRabbit Wireless LLC infrastructure. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Using the service to violate any law or regulation.
  • Transmitting or storing material that infringes the rights of others.
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any network, system, or account.
  • Launching denial-of-service attacks or otherwise disrupting the service.

Network management

JackRabbit Wireless LLC reserves the right, without notice, to limit or restrict any individual's use of JackRabbit Wireless LLC's network facilities, and to take any action necessary to protect its network facilities and virtual infrastructure. This may include filtering ports and protocols, suspending accounts, or disconnecting service.

Equipment and device attachment

We provide a managed router with your service, and you may connect your own devices to it by Wi-Fi or Ethernet. You may not connect any routers or switches to the JackRabbit Wireless LLC demarcation point or service handoff without explicit permission from a JackRabbit Wireless LLC employee. Enforcement

JackRabbit Wireless LLC may take action for a violation of this policy without prior notification, up to and including immediate service disconnection. Where practical, we may first attempt to notify you and give you an opportunity to correct the violation. We may also suspend service to protect the network or other customers.
