The local internet built for responsiveness, honest pricing, and real support. JackRabbit delivers low-latency home internet engineered by global latency experts, with no contracts, no surprise rental fees, no price hikes for existing customers, and support from people right here in the Borderland.
Through partnerships with local non-profits, JackRabbit Internet offers free technology classes for seniors, helping expand opportunity, close the digital divide, and empower people of all ages to participate confidently in today’s connected world. When our community grows stronger, we all do. Choosing JackRabbit means supporting local jobs, digital literacy, and opportunity across the Borderland.
Our network is engineered by the same El Paso team that helped build world-class latency-reduction technology used by ISPs globally. You aren’t just getting a neighbor; you’re getting the smartest engineering team in the Borderland.
No 12-Month Price Trap
Other ISPs use low teaser rates to get you in the door, then double your bill in year two. JackRabbit neighbors have paid the same fair rate since day one. No contracts, no price hikes, and no surprise rental fees.
All-Inclusive Pricing
Our prices include everything: taxes, fees, equipment, and even mesh WiFi nodes
Example comparison based on monthly recurring charges after promotional pricing changes.
While Cable Co. lures you in with a $49 rate that jumps to $89 in year two, JackRabbit customers have paid the same fair rate since day one. Over five years, that’s over $1,000 in hidden “promo taxes” you never have to pay.
Example comparison based on cumulative service cost over five years.
Mbps tells you how much data can move at once. Latency tells you how fast the internet answers. That is what makes video calls, gaming, browsing, streaming, schoolwork, and remote work feel instant.
A high-speed plan can still feel slow if every click, call, game packet, or cloud app has to wait. JackRabbit is engineered for responsiveness — the part of internet performance you actually feel.
Every Plan Is Low Latency
JackRabbit offers plans from 50 Mbps to 2,500 Mbps, but all plans are engineered for responsive performance — video calls, gaming, remote work, streaming, and everyday browsing.
Not sure what plan you need? We’ll help you choose honestly — no overselling.

JackRabbit is not 5G home internet. 5G home internet uses the same cellular network that phones use, which means home internet traffic can compete with mobile users and may slow down during busy hours.
JackRabbit uses fixed wireless technology designed specifically for homes and businesses. We install a dedicated outdoor antenna pointed at our local network, giving your connection a more stable signal path than typical indoor cellular gateways.
The result is internet built for consistent home use, lower latency, and local support – not a shared cellular signal competing with phones, tablets, and mobile hotspots.

Access all your favorite TV with JackRabbit and your preferred streaming service. We highly recommend YouTube TV. Don’t have a smart TV? Check out the Chromecast with Google TV.
JackRabbit’s network has historically averaged about 99.95% annual uptime across our core service network.
No internet provider can promise zero outages, but we design our network to minimize single points of failure. Where available, JackRabbit uses redundant fiber and microwave backhaul paths with dynamic routing, allowing traffic to automatically move to a backup path when a primary path fails. In plain English: if one upstream fiber route is cut, our network is often able to reroute traffic and keep customers online.
Reliability can also depend on factors outside the core network, including power at your home, customer Wi-Fi equipment, severe weather, physical damage, and planned maintenance. But our goal is simple: build a resilient local network, monitor it closely, and respond quickly when something goes wrong.
Please see our Performance page.
Use Waveform’s Speed Test to find your current speed (latency and bandwidth). To ensure an accurate result, please connect the testing computer by an Ethernet cable directly to the router. If that is not possible, make sure to use 5GHz AC/AX WiFi close to your router (less accurate).

By default, JackRabbit residential service includes a private IPv4 address behind CG-NAT, along with a routed /56 IPv6 prefix for modern IPv6-capable devices and networks.
For most households, this works well for streaming, gaming, video calls, browsing, smart TVs, and everyday internet use. However, some customers need inbound access from the public internet for things like self-hosted servers, remote access, security cameras, VPNs, or certain gaming and networking setups. In those cases, JackRabbit can provide a static public IPv4 address upon request.
If you need port forwarding or a static IPv4 address, please let our team know before or during your installation so we can configure your equipment properly.

JackRabbit is an independent, locally owned ISP — not a reseller. We operate our own fixed wireless network in the El Paso area, separate from major cellular, cable, satellite, and phone-company providers.
Your installation, support, and local network performance are managed by JackRabbit’s team here in the Borderland. Learn more on our How It Works page.
