JackRabbit Internet is a Fiber-Backed Fixed Wireless Internet Service Provider. We install a small directional antenna on your home or business, which connects wirelessly to one of our nearby towers.
From there, our towers link together using high-speed fiber optics or microwave links — giving you a reliable, fast connection without relying on old cable lines.
Traditional cable internet uses copper lines originally built for TV — not for modern internet. These old lines can degrade or break underground, causing slowdowns and outages.
And since cable companies often face little competition, they’re not always quick to fix them.
JackRabbit Internet avoids all of that. Our Fixed Wireless network is completely separate from cable infrastructure, offering a faster and more reliable option — especially in areas where cable struggles.
We’re often asked if our service is the same as 5G. It’s not.
5G Home Internet runs on cell networks, where home internet traffic is deprioritized behind phone calls and mobile data. During busy hours (like 5–10 PM), your speeds and latency can drop — sometimes by 95% — because the cell tower gives priority to phone users.
JackRabbit doesn’t use cellular infrastructure. Our network is built for internet only — and your traffic always comes first. We also use advanced technology called Flow Queuing to ensure that every device in your home gets a fair share of bandwidth.

Unlike satellite, which sends your data to space and back, Fixed Wireless connects you to a nearby tower, usually within 8 miles.

To get started, we install a small antenna on your home using one of several mounting options (like j-mounts or flat roof mounts). Our team will make sure the installation is secure and optimized for signal strength.
We provide one or more WiFi 6 nodes — free with your service. They support both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks and include two gigabit Ethernet ports each.
Prefer to use your own router? No problem — we’ll help set it up during your installation.
